How to Convert Images to PDF
Converting images to a PDF merges JPG/PNG photos into a single PDF document — commonly needed for uploading scanned documents (ID cards, contracts, certificates that require PDF format), bundling multi-page materials, or preparing files for printing. InkStu's image-to-PDF converter runs entirely in your browser: images never leave your device, so sensitive documents like IDs and contracts stay completely private. Select multiple images to merge in order — each image becomes one PDF page. Choose "page follows image" (each page matches the image aspect ratio, best for reading) or "uniform A4" (best for printing). Watermark-free, unlimited, and completely free.
Image to PDF FAQ
Are sensitive documents like IDs safe?
Yes. Conversion happens entirely in your browser — images are never uploaded to any server or third party. The tool even works offline once loaded.
What order will the pages be in?
Pages follow the order of file selection (multi-select with Ctrl/Command on most systems). To reorder, rename files and reselect them in the desired order.
Which page size should I choose?
"Page follows image" keeps each PDF page at the image aspect ratio — best for on-screen reading. "Uniform A4" scales each image to fit centered on A4 — best for printing.
Will the PDF be large?
Images are encoded as JPEG at 92% quality inside the PDF, balancing clarity and size. Multi-page PDFs from high-resolution photos can be large — compress the originals first with the Image Compressor.
Does it support HEIC iPhone photos?
Not directly. Convert HEIC photos to JPG with our HEIC to JPG tool first, then come back to merge them into a PDF.
